Maila'!
In 2021, Antigu was created as a place where people can pull up a chair, catch up with friends, and enjoy locally brewed craft beer.
Keeping it local has always been at the core of what we do.
That's the heart of Antigu.
How it Started
In 2016, Johnny began brewing from his garage as a hobby.
As he learned more about the craft, he began experimenting with local fruits and produce from his nåna's garden, turning them into small-batch brews, which sparked the vision for Antigu.
Named after the CHamoru word for "ancient," the brewery reflects our belief that the old and the new can coexist.
Keeping it sustainable
Sustainability is important to us.
As one of Guam's breweries, we try to find creative ways to repurpose waste and to source locally whenever possible.
Our calamansi comes from a farm in Yona, and our spent hops are donated to farmers to use as fertilizer.
Like brewing, our sustainable practices are a work in progress.
